Is an IRS POA was LEGALLY necessary to file or can someone use a military special POA to file my taxes?

afro_heat251 asked:

I was told that there is an IRS power of attorney that is necessary to file taxes. If someone used a military special power of attorney to file my taxes, is it still legally valid or is it illegal.

Does anyone know a good child support attorney in Ohio?

Cassandra K asked:

This is a Loooooong story, but I’ll make it short and sweet. And DO NOT ANSWER IF YOU’RE GOING TO TELL ME THAT MY HUSBAND IS CRAP OR TRYING TO WIGGLE OUT OF HIS OBLIGATIONS!!!!! My husbands ex is collecting over 600 a month in child support. We can NOT make ends meet. At the child support hearing she said she made nothing-that is NO money. Well, she makes PLENTY!!! She works at a bar that her parents own 6 days a week, not only does she get tips, but she makes an hourly wage too. Her live in boyfriend does not work. They collect additional child support from HIS ex for 300 a month. They have ALL types of the government assistance programs. She will NOT agree to shared parenting, obviously because her meal ticket would be gone. AND there are so many things her parents do illegally at the bar-not reporting income, not filing taxes correctly-things they have been doing for years. Soo…anyone have experience like this, or advice to get it lowered? PI, attorney, what?!
Thanks!
God Bless

What kind of consequences is my ex wife going to get? ?

Concerned asked:

What kind of consequences is my ex going to get for not proving her tax returns to my attorney on time to recalculate the child support amount for me? She’s been earning much more than me (three time more) for many years… and have been stalling and stalling… Is there any way to handle this situation faster and more efficiently? She is not willing to cooperate at all. HELP, PLEASE!!!

PS I do have an attorney…… What should he be doing to speed up the process?

Can you claim attorney fees on your taxes?

beverly c asked:

When i first filed for Chapter 13 bankrupt i was told that the law firm fees will be $2,500 and $90 for the over the telephone financial counselor , for a total of $2,590.00 . My attorney lost the case and said not to worry I’ll just re-filed your case. So i signed all of the documents without reading them ( i thought i could trust my attorney no need to read) , well i got had. Now the same law firm tells me i owe them an additonal $3,550 so in all I would have paid them totally $6,000.00 and the financial consultants /counselors a total of $140.00. so in all i am out of $6,140.00. In the begining all of my bills only came to $10,300 which included my 2nd mortage and credit cards.
I know i signed the papers without reading but is there any re-course. I really feel i been had. Now i am in debt for much more and all the payments are going to the Trustee to pay all of my bills which is fine but I hope someone can help me understand this better and at least give me some hope.
